Dr. Ho opened her own optometric practice in Newmarket in 2004 where she
practiced in an office alongside her husband’s dental practice. In 2010, Dr. Ho
joined with the York Medical group and opened a second office to provide better
healthcare access to the community especially with regards to diabetic care. In
2021 Dr. Ho combined both practices into one independent practice which is
now the current York Optometric Centre.
Dr. Ho values the importance of providing her patients with the best and most
comfortable possible vision through comprehensive eye exams. Dr. Ho has a
strong interest in vision therapy and is often learning about different ways to
help patients with difficulty achieving comfortable vision or using their eyes
together. This includes people with reading difficulties and brain trauma i.e.
concussions. She takes great pride in educating her patients about their vision
and eye health in order to help them make the best decisions for their visual
requirements. Dr. Ho welcomes patients of all ages and is able to offer exams in
Cantonese in addition to English. When not at the office, Dr. Ho enjoys
travelling, yoga, biking, skiing and spending time with her family.
