Dr. Leslie Gilliver

Dr. Leslie Gilliver graduated with honors from the University of Waterloo in 2009. She has been working at York Optometric Centre since it opened in 2010 and is happy to be serving the community in which she grew up. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and Canadian Association of Optometrists and is board certified to prescribe Therapeutic Pharmacological Agents.

Dr. Gilliver takes pride in providing comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages, from 6 months and up. She believes it is important for all children to have their eyes examined before they start school, and as such is happy to participate in the Eye See Eye Learn Program for Junior Kindergarten students. This program allows any JK student who needs glasses to receive a free pair. Dr. Gilliver also has a broad range of experience in eye care include ocular disease management, soft and rigid contact lens fitting, and refractive surgery co-management.
